Melati Inn is an inn right in Labuan town just about a stone’s throw away from Labuan’s only Esso petrol refueling station. It is only about five minutes walk from the International Ferry Terminal for international departures and Port View Restaurant.
For those who are budget conscious then this might be an alternative choice to try out. The rooms are fairly cheap and low cost and they have only three categories of room to choose from. The reception counter is located on the first floor and that means “yes” you do need to carry your luggage up the stairs 
. There is also a restaurant right below the hotel for anyone who needs to fill their empty stomachs.
A taxi ride from here to the airport probably only takes a 10 minute ride without any traffic. Traffic isn’t really much of a problem here in Labuan anyway.
